Default 318ti - MSport well maintained

Hi all.
I've owned this car for 90k miles, now with 260k. It has been my commuter car, but now I no longer need to commute to work, I can let go of this much loved, extremely reliable car. Asking $3250.

At 260 miles the motor still runs strong and reliably. I've done a lot of maintenance on the car, but the engine has stayed reliable and strong. I am not sure if it was rebuilt prior to me owning it, of if the engine is just very reliable. I typically change the oil at half the computer recommended interval, which is pretty long in my opinion. It will lose a little oil in that half interval, but not excessively.

The car has lived in the southwest, and when in Nevada prior to my ownershp the windows were not tinted and the leather has aged. The interior is clean though. The headliner was replaced, so no sagging.

In 2014 I rear ended a car which damaged the grill and hood and core support, and front left headlight. The hood is from an M3. The fenders and bumper skin are original with their respective VIN tags in place. On poor advice I replaced the grill with aftermarket unit and doesn't fit very well. I filled out DMV paperwork, but am not sure if it's in the car's public records or not. The autocheck I have prior to my purchase is free of accidents and a score of 73.

Here are some additional perks and details about the car:

New hid/xenon bulbs inside Depo glass lenses. These lights are Bright, I believe 5k color.

Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole position summer tires. These tires are safer than all-seasons in all conditions except frozen wet weather. When summer rains are pouring the car drives Very confidently, past the other drivers who are nervous about hydroplaning. They are also a huge performance improvement for sport driving through the corners. The sport suspension is slightly lower and with stiffer sway bars, and handles like an entry level sports car should.

Wheels are OEM e36 M3 17" front wheels. The M3 has wider rear wheels, but this car doesn't need wider rear wheels. The all around 225 contact patch is the same as what was originally installed. The wheels are about the same weight as than the 318 wheels they replaced, but are offset about .5" towards the outside of the car. Handling and connection to the road with the shorter sidewall and quality tires is a Huge improvement. The car feels much more like a Sport model car should.

The struts and shocks were replaced with correct OEM/sachs msport shocks. These are the original red label originals the car came with.

The M-TECHNIK shifter emblem I believe is an e30 M3, and was used on a few other cars from that era as well.

The clear coat is flaking in some areas on the roof, rear bumper and on the passenger quarter window.

There are some dings. The hood and rear deck have dents. dingdoctoraz.com quoted me 225 repair them. I made the mistake of trying work out dents in the passenger front fender. I should have left them to paintless dent repair. There are other minor dings and paint flaws, but overall the paint is glossy, clean and healthy.

The recirculator switch stopped working. The regulator is stuck in Recirculate mode.

The car will come with new in box Bosch O2 sensors that will be due on the car in 10k miles.

It is currently due for trans, diff and oil changes, but does not need anything else.

Here is my maintenance log. It does not include oil changes because I let the car's computer determine when those were so didn't keep record.
