I believe 600 to 700 of the California Top were produced, so they are indeed rare. I worked for BMW during the time the 318ti Compact was sold new, and while there were several packages - some options were available separately. Toward the end of each model year (July/August) BMW regularly used what was already on hand, resulting in some color /options combinations never listed in the brochures....you may own one! |
