Well as much as I would like to take all the credit for creativity I actually got the idea/info from Tony aka blubimma. He mentioned it in his build thread and jumped the gun when I saw his pictures.
He went with 128i rear rotors and Mercedes rear calipers, just don't remember from which car.
So since he said the rotors from the 1 series fit I got some too. Paid $9 a pair for oem rotors at the time from ecstuning, and at first I thought it was $9 each side so I ordered 2 and ended up with two pairs of rotors for cheap!
So I made my own brackets but no longer talk to the guy that helped me (ex's lil bro). I could get a machinist to make more but that'll require for the ti to be taken apart and it's my daily driver. If there is a good amount of interests I consider it tho. It's not a perfect fit however. I had to grind the carrier in the middle so the rotors wouldn't rub against it while pressing the brakes. It's about 1-2 grinded down on each side just for clearance.
All in all braking distance and power are even now. The m3 caliper is smaller than the rotor but still works and functions 100% fine.
