The Haynes manual has a some electrical drawings but they can only show so much in a few pages what originally were hundreds.
The Bosch automotive is a general handbook for automotive engineers.
The best source of drawings is the 1997 BMW NA E36/5 ETM (Electrical Troubleshooting Manual) as it specifically covers American and Canadian 318ti's.
