The solution for the Wiper issue was as follows,
1. Remove wiper arm (be careful when removing plastic cap to get at the nut)
2. Start engine and place wipers at full go
3. WD40 and assist the stub to turn
As it turned out that there was rust and gunk build up between the windshield trim and the stub. After 10 mins of this it was back to normal. No "Wiper Control Module" replacement.
Now for the key issue. Thx aceyx for the advice. The jiggling process did not work. I am thinking of getting a new key from the "dealership". |
