Hey man, I didnt have to do a whole lot to it, I used the standard 70mm pulley off a 96+ M44, I didnt cut the bolt to size (just used whatever bolt I had lying around), but I will when I have to inevitably replace the bearing. I am running a slightly smaller pulley (86 instead of 91mm) so think the excess tension on the belt wasnt too bad from what I calculated at least. The single pulley configuration uses a 63mm pulley, so I didnt think it was too bad if you account for all the circumferences. My advice is use the single pulley configuration if you can, and put an OEM pulley in there. Oh - I forgot I had to space out the OEM pulley with a bunch of 3/8" washers (9.5mm), but when you torque it all up, it works well. I ran it for probably 10k miles so far and I got no complaints so far. |
