I used Permatex No-Touch Auto Glass Stripper on the Benz with pretty decent results. You will have to put in some elbow grease with a microfiber pad but it did finally work after nothing else would.

I don't think you want any chemical that you can just spray on and wipe off, because it'd eat through everything else.
