If you run without a MAF, you default to the air/fuel tables, which is like a safe mode (kinda). It's possible to run with no MAF if you have awesome tables, the factory tables are safe (not a lot of ignition, lots of fuel). Running lean isn't likely. That being said, I'd NEVER drive without one. __________________
