 odbii readable
the port is readable, it has a code for cat/o2 sensor. that cat was replaced by the PO. I can only assume the battery was unplugged terminals tied together to reset the codes and then smogged, passed and sold to me. but once the car drives for a while the cel comes on because the hot cat or rear o2 sensor is not matching the spec. I pulled the codes for the cel when i bought it, but I didnt pull the bottom of the dash off until later. code reader cant access all the functions, so I have till next inspection to figure it out. maybe a non issue, but i hate hacked wiring it always comes back to haunt you.... like at a autox or starting when its raining. |
