would nick g's software be instead of an s-afc or power commander unit?
I depends on what you want from the car. Nick G's stuff is good, but if you keep making changes to the car you are going to want the flexibility of a PC III or some other Piggyback ECU.

The Nick G. stuff is a close to OEM as you can get so driveability will be great. with a piggy back unit you are keeping the stock ECU and changing singnal voltages, so it will work but you may have some kwirks here and there.

With a Piggyback if you chane something you can retune. With software you will have to pay to have your car re-tuned.
