I would probably give in and use a pillar mount only for boost gauges. If I wanted just oil press, oil temp and volts, I wanna stick with my current plan.
The three guages I just mentioned are more for a casual glance when starting the car, or stopped in traffic. A boost guage needs to be somewhere where you can get a quick look under accelerating circumstances.
