Even w/o air tools, it's not a difficult job (although air tools almost always make jobs 100% easier
), it's just very tedious having to drop the exhaust (especially if the bolts are rusted) and remove the heat shielding. Be sure and put some copper anti-seize on the head pipe bolt threads before you reinstall!
When you drop the drive shaft, check for excessive play in the u-joints- if your u-joints are shot (very possible if the d/s has never been replaced and you have over 100k miles on it), replacing the guibo may remove some, but not all, of the vibration.
