Well, after test firing the "rebuilt" engine on a friends engine break in stand, the engine stumbled for a bit and oil pressure was a bit low. I started checking the basics and found the missfire was on cyl#3 due to a intake valve that was not moving. After pulling the intake I found that I had a flat cam lobe! Now I am a bit worried because who knows what else could be wrong. The oil pressure issue could get costly because these engines connot be built like a small block chevy, and someting tells me this is whats going on. Flipping the engine over I found way too much copper showing on some of the rod and main bearings so I guess I will be starting a rebuild from scratch..
