I had a great time in Florida, well as great a time as one can have by themselves. I've been back a week already...
Today was Sean's 2nd parole hearing. He's still waiting for a bed at the halfway house but even better is that he has been recommended for parole!
YES!
Because he's classified as "violent", it's mandatory for him to get full board approval for release. There are 7 members on the board and it's a majority vote. The head of the parole board was the person who held his hearing and if he's recommending parole, then I'm willing to bet that no one else will argue with him. We should know the outcome in a couple of weeks (they have the full board reviews every Friday).
Hopefully he'll be approved and there's a really good possibility he'll be home in a month...no halfway house or anything! Oh my gosh I am so excited!
