I thought there was just one OBC for the Compact and another for all the other E36s.

PPPP usually means an OBC or cluster is either "uncoded" or has lost its internal coding that tailor it to its host car. (The coding data is kept in EEPROM). I wonder if the car suffered an electrical surge during the jump start.

In what way or ways are your brakes not working like they should?
