its... the right part. if you look up m42 idler pulley, that is the item they sent me. When I was in the engine i looked at the two pulleys... same BMW part #. Therefore, my car has two tensioner pulleys, one where the idler should be... with some sort of adapter to make it work. I think this might be the work of the previous owner... but then it doesn't make sense why the offset doesn't match. what in the hell!?!? |
