I wasn't allowed to learn to drive auto. I tested with one, but I have owned and driven only manuals. I drive for the love of driving, and the control you get with a manual is incomparable. The only benefit to autos is stop and go traffic jams. For normal city driving, manuals do just fine.
I'm with the others when I say, if there is no clutch I wind up tromping on nothing. Old habits die hard.
For you auto-heads out there, manual isn't very difficult and after a bit of regular driving, it becomes second nature. It isn't annoying or an inconvenience, it's a NO BRAINER! |
