 Auto Transmission Gasket Leak
I have a 97 318ti Auto, It has started to leak transmission fluid around the pan in the tranny. All of the Fluid is from the pan down and there in none above the line of the pan. Is it possible to drain the tranny, remove the pan, change the gasket, then refill the trans? I ask because the transmission is supposed to be sealed for good(?) The car has 114K, I have owned since 80K and have done no service on the trans. It seems to be leaking more fluid each day. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! |
