When I got home yesterday I checked the codes per the instructions I found on this site. I received the code 1286....not in the list!!! FRICK!! Went online and found the code and it is for the knock sensor. Makes sense now, the car is getting a signal that the engine is knocking and it is retarding the timing when I put a load on the engine. Now, what 7 kinds of h*ll is it going to be to get to the knock sensors?? |
