Mounting E28 diff with TI output flanges I found a medium case diff from a E28 and I am trying to get the output flanges installed correctly. The one side popped right in with no gap and the other pops most of the way in and leaves about a 1/4 gap. I wondered if it mattered and tried putting the diff in the car with no luck. I remember reading that someone had a problem like this and ended up taking one of the grease covers off one of the half shafts to make up the difference. This seems like a hack that others have not had to do. Any suggestions? |
