Sensors from BMW are around £60 each, OEM around £40. In theory replacement is easy although as they've generally been in there at least 10 years they can put up a fight. Snapped the retaining bolt on mine and snapped the sensor in half and to use a variety of drills, coal chisels, hammers, mole grips etc to get the rest of the sensor out (if you take the caliper and the carrier off you can get to the side of the sensor barrel).
Also have you confirmed which sensor(s) are the problem to make sure you're not replacing a good one? |
