I have done this mod over a year ago and It would be possible on a lift, but you would have a hard time to align it properly... It is very worth it to remove the bumper and it only takes like 2 minutes...
Nice write up !.... I have Bilsteins and BavAuto Springs and it rubs very often... There is only like 2 inches of clearance
