took my car a shop to have someone figure out why was it cutting out from time to time... & it seems the mass air flow sensor was gone... according to the shop, it was sending a false message to the cpu that there was no air flow - so in return the cpu was shutting down fuel delivery... true enough, $389 later (for the part only), car again runs like a dream! also, regarding FPR, the shop also told me that the car was/is running a bit on the rich side so no need to mess with the fuel pressure (and increase it) as I was gonna do. however, I still have a problem with 'a throttle actuator' which isn't working anymore (does not go through the test sequence immediatelly after you start the car), which in return is messing up my ASC. |
