I'm getting ready to go out and jack it up and look under the car, but about a week ago, I made a sharp right turn out of a shopping center, gave it some gas, and heard a pretty bad sound from under the car. It sounded like an exhaust leak at first, but now I'm convinced its something more serious.

It is progressively getting worse, and it only happens when I turn right. It sounded like it was coming from the front left wheel, but today it sounded like it was directly underneath me. Its hard to tell exactly where it is coming from.

So, hopefully I'll see something under there. My mechanic said it could be a wheel bearing, but like I said it sounds like it is coming more from the center of the car.

Any ideas??
