One of my rears blew out and the tire shop was out of 225's, so I had them put 205's...

Not true. It will still use slightly more gas with AC on at or above 60mph.

To put it in perspective though, the aerodynamic drag from having your windows rolled down will kill your gas mileage...

Try taking an air compressor, get a good seal on the tube and try to blow the crap out.
