I had the same code possibly come up on my ti and it may have been a 1b and not a 16. I've been having rough idle and a flakey fuel gauge reading so had put a can and a half of injector...

Thanks I did find a link where they described how this valve works. Seems that it has rubber gaskets inside the slider valve that regulate the amount of hot water that passes by it to the heater...
