4-5 sec for a S52..... Thats impossible unless you supercharge or turbocharge it. The US S52 motor has just around 240HP and 320Nm of torque..... Hardly a speed monster.

reving to 1500? Does it stay there or fluctuates? It it stays at 1500, you may want to check your throttle positioning sensor, your throttle plate if its closed fully. How about your AFM?

I am just curious. Why don't you get a piggyback or an aftermarket ECU instead? IMHO, every engine is different (even though its the same model) and requires different tuning to achieve max...

Is it possible to bolt a M50B25 engine into a E36 318is w/o changing the gearbox and drive shaft? Cause I bought a cheap 318is w/o blown engine and figure it will be cheaper to simply bolt on a M50...
