Breaking those bolts seems to be a common theme - and using a torque wrench on them seems to be the common denominator. Once they snug up, there's very little torque needed to snap them off. On...

I've never done an "oil flush", not sure what that would entail.

Are there performance issues with the vehicle? If not, I guess I would just drive it, although your vehicle has a lot less miles...

Breach, failure, a hole that shouldn't be there. There's lot's of passages for oil and coolant, and lots of pressure from the cylinders. And you don't want any of these mingling.

Leaking into the spark plug wells, or into the combustion chamber? One is easy, the other not so. Remove the spark plug boots, see if the one in question is covered in oil at the terminal end. If...

Well of course! After owning it for 25 years, I feel that it's just getting broken in.

I was just underneath it, chasing oil leaks - one on the R side, where the two chain case covers meet, and...

What sensor does OBD2 use for RPM?

Is it the crankshaft or the camshaft sensor? I'm using a bluetooth adapter with Torque lite, trying to diagnose a potential crankshaft sensor failure left me stranded.

Coolant Sensor Resistance

On my M44 - at 60 deg F, I measured 5.2kohms going to the DME, and 12.9kohms to the gauge cluster.

Does anyone have data to say that's good or bad?

Camshaft Sensor Output Voltage?

Can anyone confirm, based on personal observation, what the output of the cam sensor should be? I'm reading 0 and 12 volts, depending on cam position, but I've read accounts of 0 and 5 volts.

Troubleshooting Fuel Pump/Regulator

I've got a fuel delivery problem, typical crank, no start.

I've been told so, although I wasn't able to. I think I may have had some casting flash on the pump that was hanging up the cover. There may be slight differences in how the castings come out of...

I've had varying success chasing AC leaks - on one vehicle, it was subtle, never did find it. On another it was blatant, refrigerant bubbling out due to old dried up orings.

AC is not my strong point - while 35 psi may be enough to make the compressor clutch engage, I'm not sure if it's enough to get cold air. I'd try charging it a bit more just to rule out low...

I put about 100 miles on it after the RTV, #1 plug well was dry. I would have replaced the gasket, but there's only about 40k miles on the one that's in there.
