Isn't it odd?
I put a cap on it for now to prevent the gas from sloshing around and spilling out of the unsealed hole but apparently I've found other people with the same setup on the Web by looking up this...

I am 100% sure the starter wires are properly...
I am 100% sure the starter wires are properly connected. You have the two fat ones that go on the right side fat pole and the small single wire that runs to the 11 o clock and the other smaller one...
