Hey everyone. I have a 96 hellrot red 318ti with an s52 M3 5 speed up for sale. the chassi has 140,000 miles, but the engine has only 90,000 original miles as well as the tranny. The car has front m3 control arms , m3 front calipers along with Brembo slotted rotors. B&M short shifter, with E46 ZHP shift knob. DSII 17" staggred wheels. rogue dms exhaust. The car runs great the engine swap was done in October of 2010. I started the interior but I have not finished it,it was the gray tan interior. The front and rear seats were upholstered black, the head liner is black suede. the a, b and c pillars are all black oem pretty much the whole interior is black except the carpet the dash and the front door panels. I already have a black font dash just havent gotten around to swaping it out. I also have white m3 side skirts and m3 mirrors, that have not been installed or painted. The drive shaft was rebuilt back when the swap was done, and the gear ratio is 3:73 lsd. it also has urethane trans mounts. M3 front sway bar. the car has plenty of power, and is a total sleeper because it looks stock. I will try to get some pictures up 2morrow. But if you are interested e-mail me at jbmwhedez@yahoo.com for a much quicker response. Im asking $7,500 or best offer. it also has an alpine radio with cd player and the the windows are tinted limo. Thank You for your time.

How does this work in terms of getting a smog cert for a car that has a non-original engine? Specifically, how does CA deal with this?
thanks
