Reiger Hatch Spoiler Arrived

This is the last piece of the kit I'm adding.

Recap:

1. Reiger Front Spoiler Lip
2. M-Tech Rear Bumper
3. Harge Rear Roof Spoiler
4. Reiger Rear Hatch Spoiler
5. M3 style Mirrors.

I'm gonna see if I can drop off the parts for painting tomorrow.

Anyone know where I can get the paint code from? I know the color's name is marked on the front right strut mount, but is a # there too?

Hey Eric, notice what pieces I have on the top of my stereo rack?

L84THSKY 11-24-2005 06:56 PM

Hell yeah. I paid $350.00 just to have it shipped from Texas. I just won on Ebay the modular base for the tv, and it's shipping soon. Cost of the TV was $560.00

Ascot Green is 353, but you probably just want to have it matched due to fading, etc.

Was the ironing board made in Germany too?

No, but the Rowenta Iron is.

btw, have you gotten the higher force rear hatch struts for the added weight of the new spoiler?

L84THSKY 11-24-2005 09:57 PM

I'll deal with that when the time comes. Remember your comment about the lowering caps and the spoiler lip making the car low? I was thinking about that, I'll have to be more concious when parking.

I think the spoiler says I need to drill some holes in the hatch. When the painting is done, my motivation level may peak again. The only way this stuff is going on soon, is in my brothers warm garage.

maybe you want to see what it's like after you put the lip on before you put in the lowering caps just to see whether you for sure want to lower it. just a thought.

yeah, i hear ya on the warm garage. luckily it still gets to the 50s/60s here in denver. i have a lot of work to do yet. gotta get all these new parts installed. need to get another helicoil kit and some more parts too. think i may redo much of the power steering system along with all the other stuff i'm doing. hopefully steven can find a suitable articles tool so i can start putting some up.

i'd be interested to here your impressions on the 24-bit/192kHz upgrade (along with power supply and balanced outputs if you're getting those) to the DA-10. i'll probably still go for something like the meridian G08 cd-player but it would be interesting to hear the gains you get from the mods. right now, i'm looking at a tuner for the gf (she wants to listen to some radio shows). she wants a cheap one, but i just can't do that to my audio system, if you know what i mean. i wish she didn't care about am, there's a nice fanfare F1 on audiogon. oh well ...

I just got my Revox B226 back from the authorized repair shop in Tenn. I spent $200.00 on that. Now, I like the Counterpoint CD transport that I got with the D/A converter, so I'm keeping both.

COunterpoint (Mike Elliot) will sell just the Crtystal Semiconductor decoder chip for about $150.00, and it's DIY install. I don't care about playing DVD Audio. I just want the improved sound the chip would provide with the better D/A chip listening to standard CD's.

Here is the link to upgrades.

the 24bit/192kHz DAC would provide better sound for everything. the power supply and motherboard upgrades (possibly not needed if you get the direct output mod) would make it sound a good deal better too. if i were to have all those mods done, i'm a good ways towards the meridian. i still want to year your opinions. the counterpoint has certainly served me well, never a problem. i can't say i've seen a real failure in any of my used compenents.

i was looking at a revox B760, but then i read some of the reviews on tunerinfo.com and decided against it. i'm 3/4 swiss so that was a big deal for me to take a pass on that  considering a used audio refinement tuner now. see if i can get the guy down a bit.

Good choice in the hatch wing.
I have the exact same one + the matching one for the top of the window.
I have been very happy with them.

As they are now.

and the BMW lip on the standared sport bumper

Please excuse the marks on the bumper, little brats chucked a big stick as i drove past a school.

I see you don't have the rear wiper. I hope the wing fits with my wiper.
