Hatch hinge bolts

I have a question about the torx bolts that attach the hatch to the roof of the car. Are there any nuts or anything on the other side of these bolts?

My hatch sits slightly crooked, and there appears to be enough wiggle room where I can just loosen these bolts and realign the hatch right there. Just want to know what's behind there before I try.

Thanks!

Have you adjusted the two rubber stoppers where he hatch sits when closed? Screwed in so just turn either way to adjust, maybe they aren't in sync.

Thanks for the suggestion. I messed around with those for a bit, but it unfortunately doesn't seem to be related to the problem.

I'm still pretty sure it's how the hinges are aligned, the right one is bolted in a few millimeters higher than the left one. Probably the result of a careless bodyshop in the past or something.

I think I can easily fix it, just want to make sure I'm not loosening a nut on the other side without knowing.

bentley manual doesn't mention anything on the other side, just " loosen bolts and remove "

but then it doesn't specify anything for the ti so i figure it's the same.

do you have that handy manual?

I have a Chilton manual given to me by the previous owner of my car. Took a look at it, it only covered the trunk but pretty much said that same thing.

Thanks again for the help. I'm still a little hesitant to try it, anyone here with a stripped interior or track car that can take a look back there?
