Eibach Springs and Dampers Just thought I'd let you guys know that the cars now lowered on the full pro kit... awesome... better handling etc... ride is wicked too... Will try and post pics with before and after soon... Worth considering... I had a leaking rear damper and snapped spring so took the plunge... |
Where'd you find the Eibach Pro-kit springs....I've been told that Eibach doesn't offer them for the ti anymore (even though they're in the 2006 catalog)...thanks |

Most of the stuff for the ti has disappeared from the US Eibach website. If you go to www.eibach.de you can still find the part numbers. I assume that the US side of Eibach get them for you. Also, for a long time www.bavauto.com had the dampers on clearance. Don't know if they have any left. |
David, Thanks for the suggestion...got the German part no. info and ordered same from performancecenter.com , now I'm hoping that they ship the right stuff.. Cheers, Joe |
Sorry it has taken me so long to get back to this thread... We got ours direct from Eibach UK and the ride and preformance is excellent... I take it from your post that you have sorted some now anyway... cool, enjoy |
costly Dakar? or did they do a good price? |
I've seen the Eibach Pro-kit quite a few times for our car on eBay for like $220. |
They might be expensive but they are first rate... All depends what you want at the end of the day... If you are having trouble finding them. C.A. Automotive sell them too... (uk supplier) |
got any pics yet? We sell Eibach stuff at work so I may try digging up a set if I like the drop. |
no clean pics but will try to sort something this weekend :) |
Here's mine with the Eibach Pro-Kit and the stock sport package dampers. Sorry about the external link. The photo upload doesn't seem to be working tonight. Click the picture and it will get bigger. http://everyonesentitled.blogspot.com/ |
what about the sport-line kit? is that any better or you all still stand by the prokit. |
If you plan on driving it on public roads I wouldn't recommend the Sport Line kit. It's supposed to be lower than the Pro Kit and I've whacked my x-brace several times over the last few years. Speed bumps would be nearly impassable if my car were any lower. If you go with the Sport Line, you absolutely need the x-brace. Hope this helps. |
Did you have any issues with alignment/camber with your pro kit? Next on my list is springs/shocks & reinforcement plates. If I need camber adjustment, then I'll do that as well but dont want to drop another £200 if it's not necessary. |
i also have suspension on my list. maybe a uk group buy could be an option... |
