what up with other people who drive a bmw talking bad things about 318ti?
 

what up with people who drive like m3, other cars like bmw beside 318ti talk bad things about 318ti? i just don't get it? just because i have a 318ti it's save gas, all i said was i'm new to bimmerforum, showed my pictures of my car and hope to meet bfc member around my area. and i just recently move from michigan to texas. and planning to do a swap on car which after i finish school which i'm current in UTI afterward i'm planning to go to BMW STEP program. someone asked me where i was located at i told them then all i get back was you gonna get raped, at first i took it as a joke, then i joke back then this "weaksauce" person on bfc called me gay so i joked back and said how you know are you interesting? then next thing you know he said i'm looking for for rape time and i drive a 318ti? I just tho maybe i should introduce myself, I'm a proud owner of 318ti, I don't have freaky money like those guy who have big money, I'm still in school, have 4 kids at home, married, have bills to pay, i can't afford m3 like i always dream of.

Don't even think twice about them.

is my car look gay or something is there something that i did wrong with the car? all i did was just put some style 5, lowered it and basically keep it stock till i find a better job after i finish school

Well here is the deal. Most of the people that drive BMW's and bag on the 318's have small penis issues so they need to pick on someone to feel better. Don't worry about it they might pick up the girl due to the car but they loose them soon due to the bedroom issues:biggrin:

Those guys are just e-thuggin, hiding behind their screen name. I've had a lot of people compliment me on the ti at real world car events. Real life =/= bimmerforums.

I still tend to the notion that some may be crossing in second class.

This is the only forum I've ever been a part of were the maturity level/attitude are bar-none. I don't think I've seen a better group of people than on here. If the end of the world comes next year, you'll want to be here ..cuz you ain't getting to heaven on those other forums.

I'm guessing you're talking about the TI being a bastard child. It was an economy BMW, and most people don't view it as a 'real' bmw.

sorry for my sentences and paragraphs i guess i was just pissed off, wasn't thinking twice of what i said. I was just upset. Sorry for those who didn't understand what i was trying to say.

i get compliments all the time about my ti. just keep it clean lol. and after you do your swap. keep the 318 badge on there so you can roll up next to an m3 and whoop some a$$.

I have to say I go on a few BF.c meets in my area and they are OK, but they tend to be cross-forum meets, and so far pretty much everyone has been very respectful of my car, again, I don't really visit the other areas of the board quite as much. I think someone else said on the other thread - the specialist areas are useful, the 'general' areas are a bit crap. Mind you I know/use several forums where that is the case. I think you just have to assume that there are a lot of dickheads on the net and set your filter to screen them out. Otherwise you end up going mental.

ETA... ohhh wait a second I didn't realise BF.com and BF.co.uk are different sites... in which case disregard what I said!
