NEED HELP, Parting out 318ti

Okay so as many of you know, I have recently totalled my ti. Now I am just wondering if anyone here is interested in buying parts of off it. The front is pretty smashed, but the wheels, doors, door panels, moldings, taillights, hatch, seats, etc. are all still in pristine condition.
I can buy the car back for $1000 from insurance, and was just wondering if you guys would be interested in it. I don't want to buy it and then have this dead car on my hands. I would like to part it out. Would it be possible for me to make that $1000 back? Let me know, as I need to tell insurance tomorrow morning.

re: your ti

I would think you'd be able to make the money back. I myself would be interested in the wheels if they are stock BMW rims, I have aftermarked ones that are nice n all on my Ti, but the guy I bought the car from had sold the stock rims a while back, and i mean if all else fails, theres always ebay for whats left of the car, people will but anything on there.

PM'd you... I will send you a pick of the rim style. What is your email?

Anyone else interested in parts? I need to know by tomorrow if I am in fact keeping it.

Is it modified in anyway? Does it have M-Technik rear apron and sides?

durnadupa 02-18-2005 12:33 AM

No modifications, it was completely stock. I had saved up my money since I bought the car to buy the M-technic bumpers... But then the accident happened :frown: and now all that saved money is going to insurance. But there were no modifications at all. Everything is stock.
Anyone else ?

I will buy the driver side door complete. cash ASAP. 350$ish depending on condition.

durnadupa 02-18-2005 03:13 AM

Okay, since I have a few people who want things, I think I am going to pay the 900 dollars or so to keep it. The drivers side door is in good condition, except for a minor ding on it that was caused by a old guy who backed into it, when my cousin still drove the car. How would I ship the door? You wouldn't by any chance want pick up in NJ, haha probly not though...

Panzer_M 02-18-2005 04:39 AM

what color is the door?

does it the window work without problems?

How big is the ding?

email pics to www.panzermotorsports@hotmail.com

I'll pay shipping via UPS.

Sorry guys, I went to school this morning and my parents went to the place where the car was being kept and gave it up. I wont be able to part it out, insurance is giving me $6,400 back... Not too bad, but I would have liked to part it out. But the problems I had was not having a place to keep it.
Again I apologize, and I am going to start searching for a new car. At this point it is a toss up between a 318ti, 323iC, or Volvo C70. All around the same price range. What would you guys choose, I know you're biased but still...

EDIT- my post below does not make sense cuz dupa beat me by 1 min with the news he's not parting out. I swear I was paying attention!!
--------------------------
Dupa- posting a full spec sheet of model, year, options, transmission, etc. would be a big help here. In lieu of thata few pics would motivate reaponses too. My guess is that you'd have no prob making back your $900 on just the big items.

Panzer_M 02-18-2005 10:04 PM

e30 M3 for 6000 if you can find one. Hard search though.. :(

an 95 ODB1 318ti or 95/94 325 coupe

maybe a Z3 if you add a few more bills to the insurance money.
