I like it and keep us posted on any mods you make to it.

PettitWC 03-02-2008 06:25 AM

nice and clean dude

I'll get an interior one tomorrow, but its nothing special. Your standard grey cloth interior.
Plus my home made shift knob, which i love.

I spent all my money ON the car so no mods in the near future but i do have lots of plans for it! Would like to lower it soon as my suspension needs some refreshment anyway. And to kickass95 amber is the new clear :D lol.

Thanks for the compliments!

"home made"? it's not duct tape is it? I had a friend who actually used a big ball of duct tape for his shift knob for a while

PettitWC 03-02-2008 06:52 PM

i wanna see this homemade shift knob too

Well you guys asked for it so here it is! My 8 dollar answer to a history of bad shift knobs and my large hand.

Take one 4 dollar cue ball (academy), one can of satin black Krylon Fusion paint for plastics and a half inch drill bit and voila! Weighted, comfortable, good looking shift knob.

ps coming soon: black leather shift boot to match

And bonus for you guys with vinyl steering wheels like me:
I hated the way my steering wheel felt. It was too skinny and the vinyl just wasnt pleasant to the touch. Enter the worlds best steering wheel cover. $8 at wal mart. Looks clean and feels great. Pic:
