Need some advice So recently I have replaced the thermostat and the radiator and the hoses in my car, I drove it back to my new house from my old at which it was sitting and when I got home the temperature went up so I popped the hood and I was looking an it seemed like the new behr radiator was leaking at the bottom where the o ing deal was at the bottom under the cap so I was like what the hell and I heckled my hoses and the one going into the thermostat was full and hot and the other one had nothing in it, both parts are new.. Any idea what is wrong or what needs to be done |

Needs bled properly? And also my car will not start at times and others it will why is that, I have a new starter an alternator, it cranks and all an act like it wants to start but won't. |
Sounds like you need to bleed the system. For the non starting issue check your grounds also chassis to engine ground. Clean the battery post. Next check to see if you have spark and fuel. Let me know what happens |
What all grounds should I check other than the battery? And where are they |
Check battery to chassis, the check chassis to engine, the chassis to engine one is located on the exhaust side of the car, on the motor mount arm. if you need a pic ill go and take one. |
Could you please and when I pour into the radiator it just keeps on bubbling and its still leaking out the bottom of the reservoir. |
I just tried to bleed it and after 20 minutes bubbles were still coming out so I put the cap and screw back in, drove it down the road and back about half a mile and when I got back in my driveway the temp went up to 3/4 |
3 Attachment(s) did you turn you temp all the way to hot? and have it blowing on full blast? also helps if you squeeze/ massage the raditator lines. are you leaking coolant? Grounds: Check Attachments Battery to chassis (1 Picture) chassis to engine (2 Pictures) |
Yeah at the bottom of the radiator reservoir where the orange ring is |
I followed the bleeding process though same **** happens. |
was it installed and seated correctly? |
Pretty sure |
I would double check, especially since its leaking. Thats a passage way for the air to get into your cooling system. |
Should I just take the whole radiator out to check and what should i do because I bought a Behr radiator for 115$ off of rock auto and I just installed it like it was. |
