Does anyone know where i can pick up an armrest from or will another e36 model work?

Cheapest options are trying eBay, here, or a salvage yard. Or you can get a brand new OEM one for around 150$

I can't find one anywhere. Ebay has one for $200plus.! I guess ill be stuck with going to the dealer if I can't find one sooner.

Does it attach easily to the center console without modification?

Yes exactly the same way

I cant find the base needed. There's 3 e36 at pull a part in the next town and ill see what they have left.

It's hard. It was a paid option. And the few out there are usually f-ed up. Let me know
