Exterior panel Moulding need help
 

So I when I got my 318ti the previous owner painted the trim all white. Then did a bad job at it too. So with me being OCD about my car I wanted to take it all off and sand it down and apply new coats of black paint. So when I took off my trim, it was all rusted up. I am looking at buying new ones, but with my car being M-Tech they cost $158 for a new set. Has anyone came up with a way to repair to make them go back on?
