rmil03 08-11-2012 12:29 AM

thanks guys!
ever read bout someone being too low in the back and having to bang the wheel well lip in? i think i might have too

tiFreak 08-11-2012 01:15 AM

that's called rolling the fenders, they make a tool for it, if you go on any local car forums you might be able to find someone willing to let you borrow one

rmil03 08-11-2012 02:21 AM

so i was looking at a bunch of threads on fender rolling and everyone is fitting there 17 and 18 in wheels in the back.. i only have 15 and im almost rubbing, am i missing somehting here, probably somehting obvious

black98 08-11-2012 03:20 AM

To me it looks like your tire is to tall. I have a 225/60R16 on mine and i am not lowered and my tire is tucked in the fender also but no rub.

rmil03 08-11-2012 04:29 AM

yea i was scoping it out, i just need to roll the lip in the fender. but without the tool. i got this. ha

rmil03 08-11-2012 05:28 AM

yea yeaaa.. you tell me that a lot.i like the small wheel wideness a lot though!

rmil03 08-11-2012 06:10 AM

dude... you took that way wrong way haha i was being very umm whats the word im looking for here.. playful? in my post before this haha its not a big deal to me. im over the other thread and everything, maybe its you being too senstive here, i was not fousing on any criticism, i was joking along right with you there man... idk what your reading into here, my bad??? =p

rmil03 08-11-2012 06:14 AM

in the other thread you said my wheels were not your favorite of whatever which is what i was reffering too, dont know why you go firing off on people, all ive been doing is thanking you the last few days for the help...

rmil03 08-11-2012 06:16 AM

ok? hahaha

teetime4one 08-11-2012 03:39 PM

Yeah, I have 17's for my car. I run 225-45's. No issues with rubbing.

ti-billy 08-11-2012 09:27 PM

Drop looks good! Correct offset is key when fitting wheels. I run 18's with 225/45R18 tires with hr sport springs and I don't have any rubbing issues at all. But my wheels have an ET35 offset, and I run 10mm spacers in the rear.

rmil03 08-11-2012 10:03 PM

thanks!

alright one more question, not looking to fight this time either haha, its nbd. without getting new wheels and all and the offset on the Styling 5 e34 wheels i have on is different (sit out farther) then the ti wheels. after i get an alignment, which may correct the rubbing a slight bit because the back wheel are toed this was / --- \ pnegative camber . any suggestions... im lost here as you may have noticed from earlier in the thread. so im open help. if possible. ive heard about it but thats about ti. thanks.

trikzta 08-11-2012 10:09 PM

If the back wheels are have positive camber when you get new tires get some 215/55/15 or 50 all around and you should be good, to me it looks you are using the wheel setup right off the e34 with tired for the e34 too
