M44 Partout - 5-speed swap, plug wires, DME/EWS, TPS, etc.

Still have yet to pull anything off, but I'm gonna be swapping in an M52B28 motor so the M44 stuff is gonna go. My dad wants the short block, but everything else is available from the radiator to the differential. Has a whole bunch of nearly new cooling system parts, plug wires and more.

PICS - http://www.flickr.com/photos/bmwbenm...7628724133885/

Currently just over 128K so a lot of these parts have barely any miles on them...

Here's some of what I have left:

Upper & Lower Intake Manifold $40 shipped
Throttle Body & TPS $30 shipped
Cam Sensor $25 shipped SOLD
Fuel Rail & Injectors $45 shipped
Alternator $40 shipped SOLD

Feel free to PM or email me offers at benjamin dot mcgalliard at gmail dot com.

Thanks!

do you have an lsd diff? i live in CT as well, please email flameboy2002k@gmail.com

BenM 01-05-2012 01:14 AM

Sorry, but it's an open diff. Came out of a '98, and as many know 96+ Non-M cars all have non-LSD diffs, unless swapped in.

How much for the intake boot closest to the intake manifold and how much shipped to 80021

And does it have any cracks pics would be good too

The car has ASC+T, so the one right before or after the Throttle Body? They both look to have been replaced @ 125887 Miles (receipts). $20 shipped for one or $30 shipped for both.

Bump, link for receipts added in the first post.

Not sure if I need one yet, but how much for the flywheel?

BenM 01-05-2012 07:26 PM

I was thinking around $250 for the flywheel and $100 for the clutch. Or both for $300.

Del Rio 01-05-2012 08:44 PM

how much you think shipping to 20190 for the driveshaft is?

BenM 01-05-2012 08:47 PM

Rough estimate, but maybe around $30. I may need the rear section, but if not then you're first in line for it.

Also willing to sell the complete 5-speed swap for $550obo. That includes everything to install on your autotragic Ti.

Will you be using the Evap system in the car? Expansion tank and charcola canister + associated hoses and connectors.
Thanks.

BenM 01-10-2012 02:52 PM

I'm guessing I'll be using the M52 setup, or whichever fits better, or if they're the same, the one with lower miles. Will let you know.

Thanks,
Ben

Think I will be using the M52 setup so the Evap system will be available.

Are my prices high or is it still a tough market?

A used flywheel at $250 is decent if it's a fresh unit, not if it has a zillion miles on it (I am not looking for a flywheel.) Ti flywheels are dual-mass and cannot be resurfaced and should not be reused. I just threw away a dual mass flywheel from my clutch job on my S52 M3. But the tranny swap complete for $550 is very reasonable if it includes EVERYTHING. (Pedal box, clutch master and slave, hydraulic lines, shifter, linkage, tunnel bushing, driveshaft. A used clutch, pressure plate, TO bearing, pilot bearing should never be reinstalled unless it has less than 5000 miles and if the flywheel is a recent replacement, then the same applies.

Let me know about the evap stuff, and what you want for it.
Thanks.

Thanks for the insight. Like it says in my original post, everything is included for the swap (all the stuff you mentioned) and has 128K on it except the Flywheel, Clutch & T.O. Bearing. Those were replaced 7000 miles ago and were brand new at that point. I will try to pull the evap stuff by next weekend and let you know. Thanks, Ben
