M42 Engine cheap
 

Thanksgiving Weekend while returning to college after the Holiday my daughter had an accident and the 1995 318Ti I spent 6 months rebuilding was totaled. She was not hurt and neither was the other party. The Air Bags deploded and the little 318Ti body crushed as designed.

I have an extra M42 engine block with intake and exhaust manifolds I do not need. The engine was in the car with 137,000 miles when we bought it and had overheated. The Head was cracked but the lower block suppose to be undamaged. Since this issue is prevalent with the early 318 engines which leads to a difficult and expensive time finding a good head and not being sure the lower block was undamaged, I bought a good running engine to rebuild the car.

It is would about $50-$75 as scrap steel. If anyone is interested let me know. It has a flywheel for a manual tranny. You would have to pay shipping or pickup in Atlanta. I do not know how much it is worth but packing it up most likely on a pallet should be worth $100 but if you pickup $50.
