Super Charger more power less $$$. LOL Dave |
Super Charger = much easier to install less power per psi/bar  I've run both of them on the same motor I currently have. Big difference on the butt dyno |
If you want the cool whine of an S/C go for that + its an easy install and you can get good numbers If you want turbo with better numbers get that but gonna have to custom make somethings |
At the end of the day, they both cost time money and effort. Either is capable of pushing the M42/M44 to the point of destruction. "better" is relative to your expectations. Dave |
Where can i get a supercharger kit for my bmw? |

What about centrefugal s/c? |
The turbo definitely. gives more power and the sound is much better The Boost is better :D |
Engine swap? |
engine swap im going to have to say, if you find all the right parts, will cost less. from what i understand the motors are direct drop ins. its just a matter of finding a motor/tranny/ecu/harness and put it together. and swap is much safer. dont have to worry about "i blew up my motor because i was being a jackass and boosted at 15." yea forced induction is more fun but too much hassle. |
