UUC LW Flywheel and M5 E34 clutch and PP experiences Anyone with the 8.5lb FW from UUC care to share your satisfaction with this configuration? It will go on a S52/ZF TI drivetrain. 3.25 LSD, looking to balance out the top end with a little more response on the lower end. Mostly HPDE and some AutoX. Thanks! 2 Attachment(s) I run the jb racing s52 flywheel and clutch masters s52 stage 2 and 3 in my m44 ti's. I love them, good feel and no shutter. Here is some pics of the weight difference of stock m44 and new setup |
thank you, reading a bunch now based on your clue. Much appreciated. |
8.5lbs is very light ,you will loose much engine break i have put a 14lbs ( instead of 26 oem) and i think its a better compromise with a medium/long ratio diff http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2014/...7412165305.jpg with a 240 mm stage 2 clutch http://nsm08.casimages.com/img/2014/...7412165263.jpg like you can see in my vid, the engine is much more nervous  |
Hi Sam, the 8.5lb base FW ends up being an 11lb FW once the E34 M5 spring clutch and PP are factored in. Still lots of pieces have to come together by March. Collecting the parts now for a January tear down and assembly. Thanks as always for your feedback. I appreciate it. Merci! Rich  |
I have the jb racing fw with e46 bolt on my m3 works great however with the uuc poly bushings its kinda noisy at times. 99 dakar M3 vert & 97 M-tech ti |
