Coilover suggestions so iv been searching for coilovers to put on the car and wanted to see what coilovers are available out there. so far im leaning towards the tcklines. my car is intended for track use only. it has a s50 swap as well so the added weight on the front needs to be considered should i be looking into TI specific coils or for Z3 etc? what coils are setup for the added weight of the s50 motor? i would like to see what people are running thanks in advance :biggrin: |
There are kits out there for the 323Ti KW makes a specific set or you could contact Ground Control and have a set built for your needs right here in the USA. You could convert to E36 M3 front struts for the sway bar linkage set up and utilize the bigger brakes. |

Are your rear shock towers reinforced, being bmw did not design them to be used with springs and shocks. |
i just have a rear strut bar without problems, like e30 the steel is heavier at this place |

Feal suspension coilovers are amazing. Made in USA, California. Hand assembled and made to your order to any spec, custom valving and spring pressures. Also come with genuine Japanese made Swift springs. Best set up for a ti is front e36 M3 brakes and Z3 6 cyl. spec brakes and wheel hubs/bearings for the rear. I personally run an E30 325 rear subframe, diff., trailing arms and an H&R adjustable sway bar. I will be soon converting my rear differential mount to a double ear mount instead of the factory single ear, using an e36 325 diff. cover plate and bushings. Granted i will be cutting out my rear trunk area and tubing it and therefore creating a mount area for the stronger diff. mount. |
