ti= touring international. It's in our little glossary too. |
TI symbole stands for this... T= Touring I= Injected |
which one? |

I know that I=injected in 325i and 325is etc...but I'm pretty sure that it's different for the 318ti. Read this. |
ti is touring international and unfortunately the glossary section is no longer supported and I was not able to reinstall when I upgraded. |
sorry guys but its Touring Injected I got it straight from the factory I have the whole list of Symbols. My dad and I have been arguing about this so he finally emailed them and they wrote back the answer is "TI"= Touring Injected. Believe it or not thats what it is. ps: That may be true of that model but the TI on the 318 is Touring Injected I used to think it was international and I want to win the arguement but when the factory says different I agree with the factory. |

I don't know who wrote that article but its wrong and I suggest that the author contact bmw. Don't belive everything on the web.. |
okay... haha watevers... i just remembered that this was discussed MANY TIMES here before and yeah, ti="touring internationale" but since you got it from BMW HQ, I guess... but I dont think that site is the only one that said that. oh yeah, and I have seen that "nomenclature" list before too. I thought it was "touring injected" too, but the 318ti is an exception and everyone here says that it is "touring internationale" |
Then what is a 2002 ti since a 2002 ti does not have fuel injection? That would be a 2002 tii. You are reading it wrong. When ti is used it is touring international, the same as what ti means in 2002 ti. I will speak to folks from Mobile Traditions. iT would be injected touring, not the other way around. |
OOHHOOO!!! Ownedizzle! :2gun: ... he got you there  |
