Me too. West Yorkshire, near Leeds. No ferret or whippet digs, I've heard them all

I've posted a few pics up if anyones interested, not very good I'm afraid, need to get the polish out and do a few decent ones in a good surrounding.

Anyway, they're at :-

halek 10-12-2005 05:00 PM

Nice motor KRiSi,what colour is that?

welcome to the site BTW

GREX1969 10-13-2005 08:29 AM

KRiSi - those wheels are the dogs nuts. Very nice looking car.

davep-uk 10-13-2005 09:40 AM

i'm livin in watford ( back to the rolecall thing.)

KRiSi 10-13-2005 10:16 AM

Thanks Halek and Grex1969

I thought the wheels finished it off nicely, but I think it still sits a bit high, think the next mod will be a 40mm drop all round and get rid of the pea shooter exhaust for something a bit tastier.

The colour is metallic Techno Violet. Its a standard BMW paint colour but is usually found on E36 M3s.

I'm also considering a Hella Angel Eye upgrade for the front, Eurocarparts do them for just over two hundred sheets. Will finish off the front end nicely

If anyones got galleries of theirs, I'd be interested to see them, these E36 compact sports seem to be quite rare !!

KRiSi 10-13-2005 10:19 AM

Just seem your gallery halek, very nice. Very very clean car.

And I'm lovin' those Angels !!!

Matt-UK 10-13-2005 01:31 PM

There are many track days organised over the country NE section do a Croft one for e.g.

Not sure what the deal is on the Nurburgring trip, I think people have to express their desire to go as costs aren't worked out yet, tho some are organising trips within their own sections (as well as Isle of Man, with no speed limits)

Drop by and have a look, as yet there are no forums for the compact (just a register) so I always send folk over here (my sig pic on the BMWCC-GB is a link to this site)

I'm up for doing a track day. I live next to Castle Combe in Wiltshire (just off the M4) so might book up in the summer. If we could get a few 318ti's that would be a right laugh!

davep-uk 01-16-2006 09:57 PM

i'd be up for that.

Rhys 01-17-2006 12:06 AM

There are a few up for it on the GB site as well, maybe you could organise something with them? Link

stormos 01-28-2006 08:44 PM

Fitted the DEPO's today..... FCUKING KNIGHTMARE, ended up using the Avo Meter to work out what was what.

Worst bit at the end of it all my battery was flat! on charge atm!

other than that, they look good. pics to follow.....

nigeltee 01-28-2006 09:20 PM

Nigel in Barnstaple N.Devon. no farmer or backwards jokes, i grew up on the london /(ahem) essex borders. Inside the m25 is london right?

No Ti as yet, but the a4's going in the trader tonight.

stormos 01-28-2006 09:21 PM

a4's are sweet cars, set of 19"'s and your on the way.....

btw... WELCOME!

nigeltee 01-28-2006 10:30 PM

yeah, when i bought it, i was gonna lower it, fit updated lights , xenons, oh, and chip it (easy 180 - 190 brake). Nice.....

But then it needed a new turbo (partially replaced under warranty) then the day after i got that back the cat fell off! (came apart from the new turbo) Again replaced under warranty. AND THEN, i had soaking wet carpet in the drivers and rear drivers side footwells. AAAAARGGGGH!

Not a pleasant 6 months ownership and i have had enough.

Apart from that, they are good.

nigeltee 01-28-2006 10:31 PM

what a rant. sorry. just hit a raw nerve.......
