Picture Post: Your Previous Car & Your Current Ti/Car

Thought it would be interesting to do a picture post. One picture of the car you previously owned before your ti (or if it was a ti), and one picture of your current ti (or other car).

Previously I owned a 01 Volkswagen GTI GLX vr6

Currently I own my 97 318ti Active

2002 Nissan SE-R Spec-V - 6spd - genuine 17" NISMO wheels (13lbs a piece )
easily pushing 230-240BHP with all the other mods that were done. Everything except FI. Unfortunatley the car never felt like "my own" because I bought it like that... so it was bittersweet.

and I wrote that car off being a total jackass within 3 months :( stupid me, and thats when insurance got me my extremely barebones stock base Ti... in less than one year after I bought my bimmer, it looks like this...

What's wrong with the S52 M?

tiFreak 05-04-2008 12:51 AM

the non-M Z3 coupes are rarer (and maybe more expensive) than the M-coupes

Absolutely nothing....I just have a habit of talking S52/S54 instead of Coupe years. I think the S52 is "bullet-proof" vs. the early S54 engine bearing problems and you need valve adjustments....but it will definitely out pull an S52.

2.8 Coupes are really hard to find....traded mine in for a low mileage M Roadster in 2003. I search Autotrader occasionally looking for "it"...
