MD Meet/Cruise idea(s)...

Was driving into work today and took some of my old favorite roads. Thought it would be a fun run t oshare with you guys.

We could start off in Sunshine at the country store and run to the Jimmie Cone in Mt. Airy taking a long and fun route through some great back roads. Jimmie Cone has a big cruise in on the 1st and 3rd saturdays too, so we could annoy the musclecar guys and the ricers with a big BMW presence.

I also found that there is an incredibly fun road running through Gambrills state park up past fredneck that I would almost consider a mini tail of the dragon.

I'm not sure what my upcoming schedule is like, so this would have to be sometime in September...

Sounds like fun, September will be best for me too.

I'm game! ..I'll speak for Cedric as well in saying that he's game. We'll also have some tricks up our sleeves for those muscle car guys and ricers for this meet if we're heading out on one of those days

...Oh yeah.. and carstaches? eh eh

familytruckster 08-11-2010 08:43 PM

I'll park seperately if you guys have those...

So, Sept 4th or 18th?

Xenocide 08-12-2010 01:09 AM

I'll be there.

That's a long haul from NC!

spidertri 08-12-2010 01:27 AM

I'd say the 18th would work best for me.

I am in Milwaukee right now actually ;)

But I will be in Philly for the entire month of Sept.

Ok, one vote for the 18th

forgot to mention I have ALL new suspension on the car. H&R sports paired with tokico blues-and every other component has been replaced. Will be nice to compare the suspension to everyone elses. I might have a supersprint by then also. :)

Isis07 08-21-2010 04:42 AM

How are you liking the suspension setup? I know you were wary of it since it's your commuter.

familytruckster 08-21-2010 04:04 PM

I LOVE IT! It's not too harsh, but still firm enough to handle great. The ride is actually better now than it was. It could use some bigger swaybars, but I'll leave it alone for now. I like the stance and have been debating doubling up the isolators on the rear springs to get a little more height out of it.
