how to disconnect power steering shaft from rack???
 

i want to do the Z3 rack upgrade, i can do the lines and attach the rack properly i just want to know how do i disconnect the rack from the shaft. i tried searching around but no one specifically says how to do it.

Undo any bolts if there are to the rack from shaft, there might be one. Under the 2 bolts that hold rack to subframe and it’ll slide out with some coaxing.
